Flagship course
Product Reporting Systems
Eight weeks to rebuild how your product team defines, visualises, and narrates performance — aimed at leads and senior ICs who own the reporting loop.
Learning outcomes
- Publish a metric contract covering acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue proxies.
- Map weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting artefacts to real decision moments.
- Critique dashboards for noise, missing context, and misleading aggregations.
- Write stakeholder briefs that separate observation, interpretation, and ask.
- Set owners and escalation paths so reporting survives holidays and handovers.
Modules
1. Reporting as a product
Audit your current pack, name audiences, and list decisions each report is supposed to unlock.
2. Metric contracts
Write definitions, exclusions, and known weaknesses. Peer review across roles.
3. View design
Choose chart types and defaults that match the question, not the tool’s gallery.
4. Narrative layers
Move from raw export to annotation to recommendation without burying uncertainty.
5. Cadence engineering
Install rituals that fit sprint calendars and leadership diaries in UK firms.
6. Live critique lab
Bring a real dashboard; receive structured feedback from facilitators and peers.
7. Cross-team alignment
Negotiate shared metrics with marketing, finance, and customer success.
8. Handover kit
Package your system so a new lead can run it without a tribal knowledge dump.

FAQ
Who is this for?
Product managers, product ops, and analytics partners who already ship features and need the reporting layer to catch up.
What tools do you teach?
Principles first. Examples use common BI tools and spreadsheets, but we do not certify a single vendor stack.
What is a real limitation?
We do not rebuild your warehouse or write production SQL for you. If your data plumbing is broken, you will still leave with clearer definitions — but the dashboards cannot fix missing event tracking on their own.
Can my whole squad join?
Yes. Team seats are available; we recommend mixing product and analytics roles in the same cohort.
Learner notes
“Module 2 forced us to write exclusions for churn. That single page cut a recurring argument with finance.”
★★★★☆ · “Solid structure. I wanted more time on executive storytelling in week 7, but the handover kit was unusually practical.”
